Hog Deer

The Hog Deer is a small deer native to Pakistan, Northern India, Nepal, and Bangladesh to mainland Southeast Asia. They get their name for the hog-like manner in which they run through forests with the head hung low, ducking under obstacles instead of leaping over them, like most other deer. Because of their small size, they generally stay hidden in the tall grasses and woodland areas.
