Addax

Compact white antelope with gray head, white body in summer changing to gray extending over back and side. White cross on face below dark brown mat of hair on forehead. Males weigh 220 to 330 pounds; females 110 to 200 pounds. Average horns 28-29 inches, with large being 32 to 37 inches up to 43 inches. Grazer and rarely drinks unless no green food available. Generally mild, except new mothers fiercely aggressive.
